Throughout his life and career, Ozzy Osbourne followed a pattern: He strived to succeed, often stumbled and fell, then would get back up and triumph—even if it meant asking for help. The formula made Ozzy a perfectly imperfect pioneer, a singer who was often overlooked for his musical accomplishments with Black Sabbath and as a solo performer, and—during a surprising third act—one of the early success stories of reality television. This is a tribute to the self-proclaimed “madman” who beat the odds and succeeded—simply by being himself, Ozzy Osbourne (1948-2025).
